Headlights is the sixth single from the pop rock band The New Romantic Devils from their eighth studio album The Devil You Know.  The song was written by A. Monroe/R.Monroe/Anziotti. The song is sung by Rachel. The lyrical content again is a love song written in 1st person to getting caught up in it from the beginning. It also has dual meaning as a love letter to the fans. and the addiction craving of the crowd. The song was written as a homage to 80's pop music.

Background

The song intro was lifted from an older demo of an unpublished song to give some texture to the build up. The song evolved in the studio with the help of Ed and Archie. The lyrics were written first person to a lover and then with contexts to the audience from the band when on stage. The song is a ballad it was written during the First Devil You know Sessions in December 2021.
