Background
In 2003 the band went into the studio and self-financed and produced their self-titled debut album. They cut 22 tracks but settled on 15. The Album was released in 2004. The album was not a success even locally but would be the germination and foundation of things to come. The line up at the time was Archie Monroe, Peyton Reed, Holly Ridge, Randy Mason , Mike McCoy, and Keith Hudson. Archie has stated he was never happy with the production or mix of the album. The band has stated that the overall hard sound at times catches what they were going for but that it doesn't really capture the Ess essence of The New Romantic Devils. Several Songs from the album have become staples at their live performances. The album was re-released in 2020.
